:: ...IN THE SADDLE ::
Why, hello there.
Not
really news, but I thought this website deserved to be alive once
more--for me, the bands and all the fine people who helped bring this
pet (monster) project into the world. I recently listened to the comp
and feel like it's really held up. If nothing else, that damned booklet
is something in itself to be proud of.
I
also wanted anyone who stumbles upon this website to know that putting
out this record has had a profound effect on me. LGROLA, and all the
bits attached to it, made for some of the proudest moments in my life.
I say that with the utmost sincerity.
So
with that said, bask in some L.A.-circa-2003 nostalgia (good times),
and feel free to check out my "solo effort"--Project
Infinity Records. I hope I do all you Let's Get Rid of L.A.-ers
proud.
And
to Sondra, Gabe and Chris--wanna help stuff records in sleeves next
month? xo Kat Jetson

:: WE'RE *SO* INDIE ::
Indie 103.1, that is. They played The Fuse's "An Ave Maria"
from Let's Get Rid of L.A. tonight and gave us a nice plug. We don't
care that Clear Channel owns 'em. All we care about is that someone
cared enough to care. Now maybe someone will want to buy the rights
to the comp and make us and all the bands rich, cause we're all poor.

:: EXTRA! EXTRA! PT. 2 & NO MORE COMPS ::
More reviews. This batch from Screaming Bloody Mess, a kid from Cal
State Lutheran, Prick and, hell-yeah -- The Village Voice! I guess
we're legit now. Or something like that.
Also,
let it be known that there's basically no more comps left. Maybe a
hundred or so. Buy them from us and sell them on eBay for four times
that amount next year. It's a wise investment...

New reviews up from The Big Takeover, Punk Planet and Garage and Beat.
